WOODLAND

Nestled into a sloping wooded site with distant views of the Pacific Ocean, WOODLAND is a series of simple volumes that frame an entrance courtyard anchored by a two storey light filled stair tower. The volumes delineate public and private zones of the house with the primary living spaces on the main floor. Views are revealed upon entering the house through west facing walls of glass. The dappled light filtering through the trees brings a sense of calm.
