BEACHVIEW

BEACHVIEW is located at the gateway to Indian Arm, with views north up the inlet and east towards Belcarra Regional Park. The simple form of the coach house was inspired by mid century modern architecture and provides a two bedroom, two bathroom secondary dwelling with direct access from the lane. The building was designed with sensitivity to the neighbours, respecting their views. Strategic placement of windows also maintains privacy between the coach house and the main house. A low-carbon energy approach was utilized for all appliances, heating and hot water. The are no fossil fuels connected to the building and solar panels supplement energy usage.
